My Approach
I have created a safe and comfortable space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, emotions, memories and behaviour, to help you understand yourself and others better. Your therapy is confidential and as our relationship builds you will feel more and more comfortable to share openly, as I listen to you with warmth and acceptance and without any expectations or judgement.
I will carefully listen to you whilst offering insights and suggesting various techniques to help you move forward whilst working at your pace. I like to focus on what you need right now and accepting who you are and what works for you rather than grasping for outcomes and solutions and talking about things that are wrong with you and how to fix this.

Getting Started is Easy

What is Therapy for?
In the same way we go to the gym to exercise and improve our physical health, going to therapy is a way to explore and expand your mind and develop more self-awareness around yourself and lives challenges. Whether it be coping with day to day life, struggling with your self-image and self-esteem, dealing with relationship issues, lacking in motivation and feeling unfulfilled or battling with the nagging self-critic or unhelpful thought patterns. Or helping you to face things from your past so that you can re-process these experiences and find ways to make peace, move forward and ground yourselves through these painful memories.

How long will therapy take?
There’s no set timeline and this is entirely flexible with no pressure to decide straight away. I understand that long-term therapy can be a big commitment, both emotionally and financially. I’m happy to work with you in a way that suits your needs, whether that’s a one-off session to gain clarity on something specific, longer-term support or something in between. I often do review sessions to explore progress and alter goals as they are achieved. Everyone is unique and so the number of sessions needed for each client varies.
When will I expect to see changes?
Some people notice changes in a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. The pace and length of therapy are guided by your needs. Over time, therapy can help you to feel more grounded, more connected to yourself and able to navigate relationships and life’s challenges with more confidence. Most clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and significant improvement thereafter.
Why Chose Me?
People often tell me I’m really easy to talk to and connect with — friendly, down to earth, and someone they can just be themselves around. I think connection is one of the most important parts of therapy — feeling comfortable enough to open up and know that you’ll be met with warmth, humour, and genuine care.
The relationship we build together is at the heart of the work I do. I believe that real change happens when you feel truly seen and understood, so I’ll always meet you where you are — no pressure, no judgment, just honesty and kindness.
Because my approach is integrative, this means that I have a wide range of techniques that I can tap into and I can adapt our sessions to fit you. Everyone’s different, so I work really hard to find what feels right for you — whether that’s exploring your attachment patterns, working creatively with stories or imagery, or finding new ways to manage what’s feeling difficult.
My clients often say they feel quickly at ease with me — that therapy feels natural, relaxed, and even brings some lightness and laughter alongside the deeper work. If you’re looking for someone real and approachable, who’ll listen, guide, and help you make sense of things in a way that feels like you, then it’s worth getting in touch to see if we are the right fit.
